Andrew battled cancer multiple times as a child, first bone cancer and then in his lungs. The cancer forced Andrew’s doctors to remove one of his legs just above his knee as a young child. Taking a leg from a child could have had a profound effect on a life from not fitting in with other kids to always getting selected last on the field. Andrew persevered and threw himself into swimming where he competed in the Paralympics where he went on to become a World Champion in the pool. Listen in to Andrew’s inspiring story of fighting and beating cancer, to where he allowed himself to be great as an athlete despite having what some would call “limitations”.
